They say that knowledge is nothing unless is applied. This is very true, as every thing we learn affects everything we do, even if only in a small way. 
We beleive that all that is known will be applied inevitably.

 

What we hope is that the more truth you know, the truer your actions will be.
We are not learning for the sake of learning, but rather so we will have the resourses to not only see an injustice, but correct it; not only find a need in the community, but fulfill it.  

 

We focus mainly on history, psychology, literature, world religion, philosophy, and myth in our classes, but we are also learning about humanity in an effort to aid or improve it. 

 

 

 

One person who knows enough will make much more of a difference, than a hundred people who know nothing.

 

In the words of Leonardo Da Vinci, "nothing can be loved or hated unless it is first known."

 

The Da Vinci Society is a group of independent youth who cooperate towards the pursuit of knowledge. We cover only subjects of interest to the individuals of the group, and are always looking for youth who are interested in learning about various subjects in a relaxed setting. 
It's awesome to have a chance to discuss current events and other interesting topics with your peers! 

 

We really recommend you come; this is a comfortable, peer-to-peer outlet for discussion about... anything!
