Canada Day The Fort Calgary Canada day was amasing!! The music was great, the weather was... fun, the people were so nice, and the food was better than we all expected.

The World's Largest Slip n' Slide!
A few of us decided to volunteer at the Fort Calgary's Canada Day Festival. The da Vinci Group had been split up and sent to help out at different stations. After about three applications of sunscreen (which equates to about 5 hours) it started to rain: hard. Fort Calgary had rented a giant bouncy, inflatable, slide for the event. Once it started to rain that apparatus became the world's biggest slip and slide, and the five of us have bruises to prove it. We were all soaked to the bone as you can see, but I think every one of us would do it again in a heartbeat. Top: Emily, Juliet, and Vanessa Bottom: Alison, and Carisa

Before we were soaked...
Can you believe we could all smile that early in the morning? We were all tired from the Peace march the day before, but you can't stop us from having fun! We only wish the rest of the DaVinci's could've made it! |

What Goes Up, Must Come Down!
Once they deflated the slide we were all feeling very deflated ourselfs, thinking that we would never be satisfied with a normal-sized slip and slide ever again. |

We win
Alison and Carisa did a bunch of three legged races with different kids. We won first place, and have the ribbons to prove it! It just goes to show that big kids are just children who got too big for the playground. |
Emily's insane.
The picture speaks for itself.
We had an awesome time!
